How To Be A Pro In Serving a Tea Party?

Having tea with friends has become a pleasant habit when you feel the need to take a break. Sitting around a table, chatting while enjoying tea and eating some sweets: a real moment of relaxation. Often the bar is chosen as a matter of convenience but why not make tea with friends at home? The atmosphere will be more relaxed and intimate and we will have the opportunity to intervene directly on the products.

At first sight organizing a tea is not difficult: once you set day and time just wait for your friends, don’t you? One would say yes, but we must bear in mind that the moment of tea is an ancient English custom: very elegant and chic. To organize the meeting with a minimum of taste and to amaze our friends, here are some style tips.

WHAT YOU NEED TO ORGANIZE A TEA: CHOOSE THE RIGHT SERVICE

The first thing to prepare is the tea service. Someone may already have it at home, maybe one of the gifts on the wedding list: in this case, all that remains is to give a quick cleaning of cups and teapot, checking that everything is intact, and adapting the tea time to the service we have at home. Whoever does not have one can decide to buy it for several reasons: the tea set is an object that has come back into vogue in recent years, it cannot be missing in the home of those who love tea (there are real lovers of this matter). It can also be used to decorate the house, to be placed in a cabinet or on cupboards, even if these objects can be appreciated completely only when they are used.

How to choose the right service like best afternoon tea Los Angeles? First of all, you will have to pay attention to the style: there are western, Japanese and Chinese services. Based on our tastes, we will choose.

In our catalog there are several services from the brand that we look carefully selected for quality and design of the object. Cups and teapots can be purchased separately, but remember that the classic tea service consists of: teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl and tea cups with relative saucer.

After choosing the style, should the material be evaluated: ceramic, porcelain or silver? Much will depend on the use we want to make of our service. Ceramics are indicated for frequent use as breakfast while porcelain and silver are used for high quality services. For an occasional tea with friends, an occasional meeting it might be worthwhile to take quality service, in fine porcelain.

HOW TO PREPARE THE TABLE FOR THE TEA

After choosing the tea service, based on the style of this we will choose the rest. If we have opted for an undemanding service, the atmosphere should be informal: we will therefore use a lighter-looking tablecloth, in the same style as the service of Best Tea in Los Angeles. If on the other hand we choose a quality tea service, even the tablecloth and the rest must be of the same tenor: for example the tablecloth should be white, in linen or cotton. The rule for having a harmonious table, pleasant to look at, is only one: follow a single style. Otherwise there will be equally classy objects but not valued given the disordered context.

At this point all that remains is to set the table. Unless you are in England, tea is usually an informal moment where the climate is intimate and confidential: the people invited are usually between 4 and 5 am. For each of these we will prepare a cup with saucer, spoon (to the right of the cup), a small plate for sweets and any other cutlery. In the center: the centerpiece, the milk carafe, the teapot (two if these are small), a saucer with the cut lemon and the riser with the main dessert.
