1. Denmark Strait cataract Waterfall: On the first spot we have a very beautiful and amazing waterfall, Denmark Strait cataract Waterfall. This is declared as the world’s longest waterfall in which the water is falling from the height of 3,505 meters which is equivalent to 11,500 feet. The flow rate of the Denmark Strait cataract is calculated as more than 175 million cubic feet per second which makes it the most voluminous waterfall on the Earth.
2. Tugela Falls: Tugela Falls is the world’s second longest waterfall, this waterfall is located in the Royal Natal National Park, Republic of South Africa. The total height from which water is falling is about 948m which is equivalent to 3,110 ft with two trails. This waterfall gives a marvelous view from the main travel road when it rains and it is clearly visible also because of the reflection of the sun. The Tugela Falls consists of two trails, one is on the top of the Mount-Aux-Sources which is the most spectacular fall. The other trail is on the foot of the Tugela Falls starts at Royal Natal National Park.
3. Angel Falls: On the third spot we have the spectacular Angel Falls. This is located in the Venezuela and Angel Falls is the world’s longest continuous waterfall. The total height of the waterfall is about 979m which is equivalent to 3,212 ft. This water fall falls from the edge of the Auyantepui Mountain which is located in the Canaima National Park. The water falls into the Gauja River which later flows into the Churun River.
4. Olo’upena Falls: On the fourth spot we have the Olo’upena Falls, this great waterfall is located in the north-eastern part of Hawaiian Island, Molokai. This waterfall is falling from one of the world’s tallest sea-side cliff, which can only be observed either from ocean or air. Olo’upena Falls is a very tall waterfall which falls from the north shore of Molokai cliffs. The total height is about 3,000 ft and it looks marvelous because of its beautiful cliffs. This is a narrow waterfall which looks like a pipe that is joining the sea with the sky.
5. Yumbilla Falls: Yumbilla Falls is the fifth longest waterfall in the world. It is located in the Cuispes Peru, Amazonas Region and this water fall comes to the limelight in the year 2007. This waterfall has two rims, the top rim of this waterfall is positioned 2723.6 m from the sea level and the bottom is rim is above 1828.1 m from the sea level. This makes the total height of the waterfall about 896 m which is almost three times the height of the Eiffel Tower. This waterfall is separated into four distinct steps.
6. Vinnufossen Waterfall: On the sixth position we have Vinnufossen Waterfall. This is the longest waterfall in the entire Europe. The Vinnufossen Waterfall is located in the village of Sunndalsora which is near to the municipality of Sunndal in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The water from the Vinnufossen Waterfall falls into the Driva River which is located near to the Hoelsand. The view of this waterfall is very astonishing. The falls of the Vinnufossen is the part of the river Vinnu. Total height of this waterfall is about 860 meters which is equivalent to 2,820 ft.
7. Browne Falls: On the seventh position we have the Browne Falls. This is located in the Fiordland National Park, New Zealand. This waterfall generates from a tarn lake which is known as Browne. The total height of this waterfall is about 836 m. This waterfall generates when the water in the lake overflows and falls from the outer side of the lake. The gradient of this stream is about 42 degrees which is quite a low angle, because of this the looks of this waterfall is not very impressive.
8. James Bruce Falls: On the last spot of our list we have the James Bruce Falls. James Bruce Falls is the longest waterfall in the North American continent. This is located in the Princess Louisa Marine Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada. The total height of this waterfall is registered as 2,755 ft and this stream flows into the Loquilts Creek, which gets empties into the bay through the better identified Chatterbox Falls.
